Filming

I just had just watched the documentary 'We kinderen van juf Kiet' and heard the story of how the filmmakers approach filming in a classroom. I put their techniques into practise (not as thorough as they did): I visited the class the day before and I held a presentation for the kids, explaining all my gear and the proces of filmmaking. I think this really helped in how they children later on shared their stories with me and my camera.

Wakkere wegwerpers Turbo Tour

Solo documentary production: I spent 1.5 weeks with the Plastic Soup Surfer as he paddled from Den Ham to Den Haag, advocating for waste separation in primary schools. Throughout the journey, I edited between filming, working in campgrounds and in the car. The outcome was four films targeting three key audiences: children, like-minded individuals, and policymakers.
